FIRE DESTROYS SKI SAWMILL RESTAURANT AND MOTEL

Morris, Pennsylvania -- Fire destroyed the Sawmill Motel and Restaurant at the Ski Sawmill Resort near Morris, PA early Sunday January 20, 2002. Ski Sawmill has served as headquarters for the RallyRight School and Ski Sawmill ClubRally since it's begining in 1988.

RallyRight Chairman Lesley Suddard was in phone contact with Ski Sawmill owner Mike Knefley on Monday. An emergency organizer's meeting of the RallyRight Committe has been scheduled for early February to assess the options for the 2002 RallyRight School.

While the RallyRight School might need to be cancelled or postponed for 2002, the organizer's feel confident that the Ski Sawmill ClubRally will take place on the scheduled date. An announcement will be made after the meeting in February.

From its humble roots starting in 1988, RallyRight has developed as the premiere stage rally school in the United States. The fast-paced four day curriculum is designed to expose the novice competitor to all aspects of rally racing. Included are performance driving exercises, specialty seminars and a National Licensing program.
